Personality: Viola took on the traits of her previous human, as well as some that she learned by watching the close 'friend' of her human. She's protective of those who she likes or side with her. She thoroughly enjoys death; she likes being around when it happens or even causing it. She's cunning and is very sexual. Most of all, she likes to exert dominance over men. This isn't in a sexual way, but she likes to boss them around and put them in their place. Viola does her best to cause war. Either by pitting two friends together or playing off of the dislikes of two different groups. If anyone hurts someone who she cares for, she'll go after them until she takes revenge. Overall, Viola is a mischievous person. Not only does she like causing war but she likes to talk people into taking revenge or doing things for her.

Likes:Viola likes death, watching people feel sorrow, wars, revenge, and females who are dominant over males.
Dislikes: Viola dislikes when people hurt those she has a fondness for, females who are submissive to 'male dominance', passive people, and people who simply wallow in sorrow and keep from taking revenge.

The Collection

Weapons: Though most use Tekko-kagi as a dual weapon, Viola only owns one. She uses it on her right hand, leaving her left hand free so she can catch punches and such. The weapon straps around her wrist and has a bar for her to hold onto. Across the top it’s decorated like bones. There is a skull that sits in the middle of the back of her hand and metal made to look like hand bones come down, covering the tops and fronts of her fingers for some protection, three blades attached so they rest between each knuckle. The blades are each about a foot in length and curl under slightly to cause them to catch onto things. When used as a pair they can be used for climbing, but since Persephone only has one it can only help with such things, like catching herself if she falls. There’s nothing particularly special about it…it’s just a normal one.

Viola also likes to carry a whip around with her. Its span is about 10 feet from handle to tip. The tip is a thick, pointed piece of silver and the handle is made of the same silver material. The rest of the whip is simply black. She mostly uses this to keep people 'in place'. Viola often favors her single Tekko-kagi, but her whip gets a bit of use too.
Special Ability: Viola has the ability to craft shadows into thin 'strings' that she attaches to a person's body in order to control them like a puppet. She uses hundreds of them in order to control each part of the body and is very good at it. This only lasts for 3 user posts and she cannot control the thoughts of the person she is using as a puppet. It requires two hands for her to control them, and those who are strong willed enough may break her strings with sheer force. Viola may also use this on inanimate objects such as a body of armor so that she can make it move about. This is easier to control as it can't control its own body, so she only requires one hand for this. In order to give the armor a bit of personality, Viola might temporarily borrow someone's shadow, placing it within the armor for a short period of time.

Weaknesses: Light, her own pride, her eagerness to 'enjoy the company' of a woman, and strong women.

History: Viola once existed as the shadow of the goddess The Morrigan who was known in Ireland, Wales, and Britain. She was called Supreme War Goddess, Specter Queen, and a shapeshifter. She was a patroness of priestesses and witches, and ruled over water, revenge, magic, and prophecy. It is only possible that she is now a shadow person by the fact that when people switched religions and stopped believing in and worshiping The Morrigan, she became human. As a human she lived amongst other mortals and gods and goddesses turned mortal. Viola doesn't remember the exact date that The Morrigan died, or if it was from old age or disease. All she knows is that it was a very long time ago since she was originally an ancient Celtic goddess.

With the death of The Morrigan, Viola was released and became a shadow person. She took on the traits of some of the things that The Morrigan once ruled over, such as revenge. Not only did she take traits from The Morrigan, but also The Morrigan's close friend and ex-goddess Macha. Macha was called Battle Crow and had power over protection, war, death, cunning, sexuality, and dominance over males. Viola took on all of Macha's traits but only by watching. She watched Macha while a shadow and after becoming a shadow person until her death. She had decided that her traits would be very useful to her and so she learned them.

Viola had begun to simply wander about. Skipping to different continents of Earth, using her mischief to have fun. Some of history's most well known wars and murderers were caused by her. It was Viola who sat with Hitler and used her cunning, whispering into his ear, to get him to start the Holocaust. It was also her who helped pull the entire World War II together, whispering into the ears of leaders around the globe, then simply watching in joy on the sidelines. Think about murderers now. No one knows what Jack the Ripper was thinking...Other than himself and you guessed it...Viola. She was there to talk him into killing those women. She simply loved his 'art'.

Those were Viola's 'rambunctious' days though. Now, having calmed down some, she keeps to a smaller scale, talking people into doing her bidding, causing lust in women, then every now and again working on starting a war. Most people do not know her by name, and she's a manipulator, her name never coming out or taking the blame when a war has started or has ended. She's simply a background piece that those who pay no attention to such incidents know nothing of. Mostly humans.
Et Cetera: Viola is not an actual goddess, but has simply taken traits of ex-goddesses The Morrigan and Macha.
